Farm
and Estate Maps
Our farm and estate maps are usually based on the latest
level Ordnance Survey 1:2500 (25” to the mile equivalent)
vector data, either Land-Line or MasterMap. These maps
are the most detailed and most accurate available and
they are the same as those used by the RPA and other government
agencies. Pear Technology’s software can work with
maps supplied by Ordnance Survey in the Republic of Ireland,
Ordnance Survey Northern Ireland and Ordnance Survey of
Great Britain.
As Licensed Partners, we can supply Ordnance Survey (GB)
based maps under a much simplified administration scheme
and at favourable rates based on the area of owned/occupied
land, not the area of the enclosing rectangle.
For contracting and consultancy applications, we can supply
1:10K and 1:25K raster data.

Councils/Housing Associations/Grounds Management
For large-scale detail maps we recommend Ordnance Survey
MasterMap vector data and for overview maps we recommend
OS 1:25000 or 1:10000 scale raster data.
We can advise on the most suitable maps to meet requirements
and their cost. The map data can be obtained direct from
Ordnance Survey or through ourselves – either way,
we can help with the licensing agreements.
General Business/GIS Applications
We have a range of world, European and UK maps available
that are suitable for maps based on postal areas, counties
or other administrative boundaries. If we do not have
the appropriate maps ourselves, we can source them from
specialist suppliers. |
